Unattended dingy located, Hihi Beach

Location:

Northland

Police are appealing for information after an unattended dingy was found at Hihi Beach around 5pm last night.

The light blue dingy is approximately 6 feet with a worn off-white interior.

A fishing net with floats, three freshly caught fish, a loose seat cushion and a wooden bench seat were located inside.

The general appearance of the dingy indicates it is in use, so Police would like to rule out the vessel being linked to anyone missing or in distress.
